Guy Nesdale and David Maltby met after they both attended Columbia Business School, and decided to form Empire Square Group to enable select US and overseas investors to directly acquire real estate in a way that better optimized returns. Guy’s extensive background in institutional private equity combined well with David’s years of experience investing and managing commercial real estate. They shared a simple yet unique perspective on using strict value-oriented criteria, underpinned by disciplined economic research, to source only the best assets and achieve optimal returns.
